... and they sign OT Winston Justice off the street. Pretty huge blow for Denver and Manning as Ryan was regarded as one of the best, if not the premier LT in the game.

He held out, refusing to sign the franchise tag that wouldve made him one of the top 5 highest paid lineman in the game, and was rewarded in late July with a 5 yr/$57 mil contract ($33 mil guranteed).

Hard to believe the Broncos went with Winston Justice when Max Starks is rested and ready:coffee:

my thoughts exactly.

i still cant believe that after we finally spend two high picks on our bookend linemen, relatively still young and experienced tackles such as eric winston and winston justice were sitting there, out of work, ripe for the picking.

With each passing day the AFC gets weaker.

Barring a return to form by the Pats or a sudden improvements from the Texans and Bengals, the AFC will continue to field the inferior conference.

Well, the way the trend has been we could hire any clown off the street and he'll make our starters look like backups.
