Great article, Mike, and it really puts things into persepctive. I'd love for Cowher to be our HC for another 15 years, but I know that isn't going to happen, so back to reality for me. In 36+ years, we've had two outstanding HCs who each had/have their own unique style and methods of building great teams and getting the most out of their players. When Bill decides to hang it up, I will admittedly be sad, as I think we as Steelers fans have been somewhat spoiled by all of his (and Noll's) successes that we as fans find it hard to move on ourselves, but move on we must, just as Bill will move on to retirement and quality time with his wife and girls. Whether it is at the end of this season, next season or the following season, we've been so blessed as Steelers fans to have had this great coach head up the football team we all love. Whatever he decides and whenever he decides it, Bill Cowher is a legend in this town, as well as the NFL as a whole, and we'll all have something more to look forward to in the coming years besides another SB victory - the induction of The Chin into the NFL HOF! :bouncy:

As an afterthought, I would be thrilled to have The Wiz as our next HC!

(The reference to Mr. Magoo in Washington cracked me up - LMAO!) :sofunny:

That was an excellent article. Very true in my opinion. I have and will always have complete faith in the Steelers organization. Ken Whisenhunt would make a fine head coach.
