We are to the point now where we can root for other teams we dislike to lose and teams we like to win without worrying how it impacts the Steelers playoff prospects:chuckle:

We are also at the point where we should be asking Browns fans for advice.

'How do you root for a team that you love, but sucks?'

Some of us who followed the 1985-1991 teams have experience there and the real old timers like me remember the pre-Noll teams as well as Noll's first year (1-13)

You still root for them and hope for better days while remembering how much joy the players (RIP LC) have brought to you in the past

Unlike Browns fans we do not have to ask those who were around in 1964 to tell us what it feels like for your team to win a championship

Ah, I was just being facetious.

Sarcasm is my defense mechanism.

It helps ease the pain (not really).

I've been getting shit for being a Steelers fan since I became one. Even when they won two titles it was 'the refs helped them' and 'they didn't beat the Pats' and other nonsense.

Whatever. Haters gonna hate.

Been there, done that.

I stick to the three and a half stages of grief:
-Sadness/Depression (continuous)
-Acceptance
-Drinking and gambling (intermittent)
-Scathing sarcasm

Been working like a charm for 13 years, baby! :chuckle:

Fans who think Adams is going to work out at LT are still at the denial stage of the grieving process
