At the end of the Patriots game last night, Cris Collinsworth (who I think is a good analyst) was going off on how Belichick spends a lot of time ministering to prisoners and the poor

Prior to that homily being delivered I missed this tribute by Cris to the leadership skills of Father Belichick

All Bill Belichick does is brings them in here and there hasn’t been one ounce of a problem,” Collinsworth said. “There’s something about when they come in and play for Patriots, whatever their issues may have been before, they disappear.

Media slurps Belicheat so hard, they don't even bother to check his member for dirt anymore.

no coach in history couldve fixed hernandez he was a thug and he hid it pretty well. doesnt take away from colinsworth's point. he was generalizing but he's pretty much on the mark.

When players joined Brian Billick's Ravens team, all of their off-field issues disappeared too.

He said "not an ounce" of trouble - Pats knew Hernandez continued to be bad news - more power to them but an NBC should not tell me Belichick saves souls

I guess Collinsworth would say "other than that Mrs. Kennedy had a good trip to Dallas"

I only read the "not an ounce" quote after I heard the 4th quarter statements about what a great guy Belichick is by visiting prisoners - WTF does that have to do with the 4th quarter of a football game?

He is a great football coach who cultivates being perceived as an ass (his interview after the Super Bowl loss to the Giants was notably classless)

If he was such a great guy I doubt you would hear so many announcer testimonials trying to let us know he is
