Until the chickens come home to roost and they sue the league, anyway. What kill me are the ex-players who bemoan the pussification of the sport while they were also parties to the huge class action suit the NFL just settled.

Until the chickens actually come home to roost and they sue the league, anyway...

Future lawsuits are going to be tough to win

A big factor in the last case settling was that the District Judge Brody allegedly told the plaintiffs' attorneys anyone who played after 1994 could not sue

Brody had signaled that she was going to side with at least part of the league's argument that some players covered by the collective bargaining agreement should not able to sue the league. That would have gutted the lawsuit in two ways. First, it would have removed many of the nearly 6,000 former players and/or their families suing, including, lawyers for the players believed, players who appeared in the league from 1994-2010, the controversial period at the heart of the lawsuit. Second, those who remained would have faced a major hurdle proving fraud allegations, given that the NFL's controversial concussion committee wasn't formed until 1994.

He was talking to Skip Bayless. This interview is actually one of the reasons that I love the guy. Plus, he's right.

...except he didnt answer a single question, immediately attacked the credibility of the man on his show, and sounded like an asshat the entire time. it doesnt matter if he's right. he acted like a child and somehow found a way to garner public sympathy toward skip. which is a combination of words id never thought id use

If Bayless got any sympathy, I didn't see it.

If Sherm is guilty of anything, then it's his lapse in judgment to appear on that show with those two asshats to begin with. Nothing else.

look at the top comments on the video. that was everyone's opinion i heard on it. regardless of your feelings toward skip hes never attacked any athlete personally. sherman cant say that. hes a douche with an education but with belligerency you'd expect of someone ten years younger than him to have.

The majority of the twitter comments supports Sherm:

Bayless apologized to Sherman:

http://blog.seattlepi.com/football/2013/09/16/skip-bayless-apologizes-for-doubting-seahawks-richard-sherman/

As someone else said, Skip Bayless makes a living out of bashing players. This time a guy bashed him back.

If you don't like Sherman, fine. But do me a favor and don't derail my thread with your hate. K? Thanks.
