what do you guys think about the steelers grabbing TE Eric Ebron if he's there at 15? This kid plays a lot like vernon davis. He would be a great asset to our offense. he can create mismatches with smaller db's, LB's, and safties who are vulnerable to coverage. This draft has 3 elite TE's who are worthy of being picked in the first round. http://www.youtue.com/watch?v=9A0g_yP6gT0&feature=youtube_gdata_player

we're definitely going to need to start looking into Miller's replacement. It's not good when you're #1 TE being injured means so much to the team. I like Spaeth, and saw improvement in David Johnson earlier in the year when he was still seeing the field, but when Heath is gone we have nobody who can come in and perform near what he can.

I do think Ebron is the best of the three top tight ends, although most analysts have Amaro above him but I disagree. I'm not opposed to Ebron at 15 and I'd love to have him but I would probably only take him if Watkins, Evans, Nix, Clinton-Dix, Mosley, and Dennard were all gone. Chances are one of those other 6 is still there for us but in the event that all 6 were gone in the top 14 I would go Ebron without much of a second thought.

I have always been a big fan of integrating the TE into the offense, was sad when Ron Erhardt (my favorite OC), was released, so I see value of the top TEs vs any of the receivers (possibly with exception of Watson). However, given the need for immediate defensive impact, I would likely pass in round 1 and target Lynch from GA possibly in the 4th; he is a much better pass receiver that reported, GA relied more on his with injuries to their receivers. Would not be upset with Ebron, but feel we need Defense, however, TE may provide BAA.

PS: If they feel a franchise LT is available, would go there is their board has that player ranked significantly higher that others. Not a popular choice, but could prove longer term value than "skill" player.

If a guy like CJ Mosely is there, you take him. We desperately need to upgrade that D. Watching SF & Seattle play yesterday showed me that we need to upgrade this defense desperately ASAP! The only way I would go offense is if, and only if, a guy like Watkins falls. He's a special player and I would be ok with that. Failing that, I'm for defense in rounds 1-3 at least.

It's a little early to tell but if the bpa is Ebron or one of the other Te 's I would not be opposed . A ATHLETIC PHYSICAL TE IS A MATCH UP NIGHTMARE !

Could possibly put our offense over the top !
