im a steelers fan but lets set that aside for a moment.....ive liked the cardinals ever since josh mcown was drafted. couple of years ago they had the offense of the 2005 bears and defense of the 2005 49ers. now the tables have turned, their defense is about average and they just need 1 dominate player like a joey porter type or a ray lewis. their offense is the best in the league right now. i was watching best damn sports show last night and eddie george thinks they are super bowl champs this season, if the steelers dont make it than i acually believe him, they have the offense like the 72 dolphins, where they can put up 40 pts a game and not many can outscore that.what yall think?

They will not put up 40pts/game, but I do agree that I think the do have a shot at the playoffs...You must have D to make it to and win the SB. I will also say that if Warner goes down then all bets are off.....They will go as far as he leads them, it goes without saying that James needs to stay healthy also.

They've been my fun team to watch ever since last season. With the addition of The Edge, they will be a force to be reckined with by all their competition in the NFC. Ironically, I'm reminded of Kurt Warner's days with St Louis, when they won the title.

A lot has changed, though, in the league. The AFC has at least 3 teams better than anything the NFC has, IMHO. Carolina will be fun to watch this year, but a lot will depend on their coach containing them. Some loose guns there.

Because of Fitz, the Cards are my fav team in that league. I'll be rooting along with you.

You don't have a great offense unless you have a great O-Line. Arizona does not have a great offense.

well to my surprise they were ranked 8th last year in total offense. only 2 spots lower than the bengals. their schedulw was hardly a cake walk either

Sep 11 @N.Y. Giants Lost 19-42
Sep 18 St. Louis Lost 12-17
Sep 25 @Seattle Lost 12-37
Oct 2 San Francisco (Mexico City) Won 31-14
Oct 9 Carolina Lost 20-24
Week 6 BYE
Oct 23 Tennessee Won 20-10
Oct 30 @Dallas Lost 13-34
Nov 6 Seattle Lost 19-33
Nov 13 @Detroit Lost 21-29
Nov 20 @St. Louis Won 38-28
Nov 27 Jacksonville Lost 17-24
Dec 4 @San Francisco Won 17-10
Dec 11 Washington Lost 13-17
Dec 18 @Houston Lost 19-30
Dec 24 Philadelphia Won 27-21
Jan 1 @Indianapolis Lost 13-17

so figure in their upgrades this year and the fact that their defense ended up ranked 8th in total D, they should be worth keeping an eye on...

The Cardinals offense the best in the league???
NO WAY...They dont have a great line...the have a good QB...a Good running back and maybe 2 great----good wide receivers....OL has many questions....

their line was absolutely horrific last year. they gave up 45 sacks and was dead last in rushing, but if they ever get some beef up front ,look out!!!

Sure they can put up numbers, but their lack of a good O-Line will create a lot of inconsistency. I never said their offense wasn't good...I just meant that it wouldn't be great until they actually got a decent O-Line.

They'll do pretty well in the NFC, the Funcoland of football. Cold hard reality when they meet old-school teams. The Bears, for example, would kick them in the teeth, I think. The AFC would be the proverbial cold water in the face.
