1st - Louis Nix III , NT
- I'm not a fan of wasting another pick on the big uglys , but Nix is more than a 2 down player , slide McClendon over to DE

2nd - Kyle Fuller / Stanley Jean-Baptise , CB
- CB needs to be 1st or 2nd round - Fuller is excellent and fits this team well , and well SJB has loads of potential

3rd comp - Demarcus Lawrence , OLB
- Well Chris Carter showed nothing, Worilds might not be back , OLB should be a big priority

4th - Robert Herron - WR
- Maybe AB 2.0 - Colbert seems to like him , they like smaller guys

5th - Marqueston Huff - FS
- Back to back Wyoming players - I think Huff will be a steal in this draft , but that's just me

5th comp - DeAnthony Thomas - RB/WR/Return
- Will he last this long , who knows , but he's a weapon ...

6th - Andre Hall - CB
-Need at least 2 of these , as Curtis Brown showed absolutely nothing

7th - Kapri Bibbs - RB
I like this guy , and we need another RB behing Bell , from Colorado State , Joey Porter could bring this guy with him , and he's young only a red shirt soph

I like it.

I would switch in Bucannon, but I wouldn't mind that draft at all.

1. C.J. Mosley, ILB, Alabama- Timmons isn't getting any younger(28) & we would be in trouble if Timmons went down. And its time to rebuild that LB corp.
2. Bradley Roby, CB, Ohio State- had a rough year but has 1st round potential
3. Martavis Bryant, WR, Clemson- kinda a raw prospect but has great size(6'4) & speed, needs to work on being consistent with catching the football but besides that I like him(some Clemson coaches said he could potentially be better than Watkins)
4. Justin Ellis, NT, LA Tech- true 0-technique NT, depth pick and maybe future starter
5. Kenny Ladler, FS, Vanderbilt- A rangy free safety who has a nose for the football & will be Sharks future sidekick
5. Shaquil Barrett, OLB, Colorado State- A "Joey Porter" prospect
6. Aaron Colvin, CB, Oklahoma- day 2 talent(tore ACL) potentially a future starter.
7. Tom Hornsey, P, Memphis- WE NEED A F**KING PUNTER

Undrafted.
Tre Boston, S, North Carolina- Its surprising how his stock fell, I thought he was a very good cover safety with above average ball skills at UNC, he can also play corner if needed
Carrington Byndom, CB, Texas
Caleb Lavey, ILB, Oklahoma State
Crockett Gilmore, TE, Colorado State

Figured you would want Bucannon ... lol I wouldn't be mad though ... I love EJ Gaines and think he fits our Defense to a T ... 3 DBs? , I also think a team like SF or Seahawks , some team with not as many Needs and 49ers have a ton of picks to waste

I'm not a huge fan of CJ Mosely ... I don't trust or like Bama prospects ... scheme, coaches and talent are all great for them to succeed, also ILB would be a luxury pick and right now we can't afford Luxury picks

Roby definitely has potential ... I honestly like him as a FS , so I'd be all for grabbing him to play FS, CB I'm skeptical but he def has potential

I wouldn't touch Bryant unless he falls to like rd 5 - all the athletic ability but he's just not a football player , at least yet ... and right now we can't afford to take projects I don't think

Ellis might go in the 3-4 round range ... the lack of NT in this draft i think will push his stock up, although I do like him ... also look at Zack Kerr from Delaware for a late round NT project

Yes, three DBs, because I foresee:

2014:
Cortez, Ike, Gay, rookie A, rookie B

2015:
Cortez, player A, player B, Gay, rookie

And, the third DB would be a safety, to pair with Shamarko in 2015 (or even to start at FS in 2014).

lol I didn't finish my thought :banging: ... I meant to say one of those teams I think will target Colvin earlier

But yeah I agree need at least 2 this year , 3 if including a safety

Ah... got it.

Yes, the Niners did the same with Marcus Lattimore.

You guys do realize that Louis Nix has already had a knee surgery. I don't trust him one bit now, a 342lb Lineman with Knee Issues at such a young age is a cause for concern. I'd rather draft Aaron Donald from PITT in the 1st.

Where is Donald going to play in the 3-4? ... You going to have him lose weight and play OLB? ... Not lng enogh for the DE , absolutely not big enough for NT

Now if we're talking a switch to a 4-3 and you want to jump start that with Aaron Donald I'm with you ... But its just not going to happen
