Ok it's early but the signing of the Safety Mitchell can put some things clearer towards the draft.

Round 1
CB Darqueze Dennard, Mich St. -could be a Revis? (would actually hope CB Justin Gilbert or WR Mike Evans might be here though.)

Option to trade down for say CB Kyle Fuller but really think a "special" player will be there at 15. So no getting back a 3rd round pick.

Round 2
6' 3" WR Donte Moncrief, Ole Miss -tall and fast. (would hope for WR Jordan Mathews here but think he will be gone.)

Also like WR Martavis Bryant, Clemson at 6'5" and believe he could be better then Moncrief but the Steelers like the guys with a lot of catches in college so Moncrief gets the edge. Also believe they will take one now and not take a chance waiting until the very end of 3rd round.

Round 3 Comp Pick
NT Daniel McCullers, Tenn 6'7" 352

Can play NT and DE. So it's like adding a NT & DE to the roster as now McClendon can slide over to DE and let Nick Williams and Brian Arnfelt backup. Get Al Woods back too by the way.

Round 4
CB EJ Gaines, Missouri

The Steelers belief in Sean Spence's recovery and Vince Williams development may keep them from drafting someone like ILB Shayne Skov of Stanford here. They need CBs. EJ had four interceptions and held Mike Evans to 4 rec 8 yards this past year.

Round 5
OLB Morgan Breslin, USC

Something up with medical maybe. Has the time to heal a bit and be a solid backup and eventual replacement maybe. Only thing I found on him was this article:

Round 5 Comp pick
RB De'Anthony Thomas, Oregon

Can't have Thunder (Leveon Bell) without Lightning. Not really fast at 4.5 but cuts on a dime and returns kicks. Watch him you'll see...

Round 6
DE Shamar Stephen, Connecticut 6'5" 309

Impressive strength and flexibility throughout his core to absorb double-teams, rarely getting pushed off the line of scrimmage. Durable. Played in 46 games over his collegiate career. Can play the nose as well.

Round 7
OT Justin Britt, Missouri

Could be a real sleeper pick. Blind Side capable.

Round 7 Comp Pick
P Patrick O'Donnell, Miami

LB type body who runs down and covers punts. Also long kicks. Averaged 47.1 yards per punt in 2013 with the Hurricanes with almost half of his punts traveling over 50 yards. Besides the Rooney's will love this Irish kid!

I Know a lot have mocked Shaquil Barrett OLB, Colorado State to Steelers. He's ranked so low everywhere I think he can join the team as an UDFA after the draft. Teams desperation for 3-4 OLB may have him go earlier though.

Nothings in stone. Pre-draft visits determine more clues to the puzzle which no one will ever predict exactly. But it's still fun. Fire away....

Like your picks, all seem to offer something in an area of need. Think DL or LB will be addressed no later than R2; McCullers may be too tall to effectively anchor the nose. I don't like NT options that I see predicted for R1-2, no Casey Hampton or Vince Wilfork seem to be available, so would rather select LB or DE in round 1/2 along with CB. Hopefully there is a gem of a NT that can be found in draft or FA, must get more physical and aggressive with the front 7.
