Heck, maybe he could even have hit Coleman with the flag, as long as he didn't hit him in the eye with it. Ask Orlando Brown. That hurts.

Once again, misleading. These quotes are from Sabans post game press conference, as quoted in Sun Sentinel articles.

``In everything you do, you have to be able to overcome adversity,'' Saban said. ``That's what we didn't do late in this game, and that's what we have to learn to do. If you can't manage what's hard, it's always going to be hard.''

``I didn't realize that no one would see me throw the flag at that time,'' Saban said. ``I promise you that I do have the speed and athleticism to get to them, so I have nobody to blame except me. But that's not why we won or lost the game.''

``The yards he got were all tough yards,'' Saban said. ``We need to get a hat on a hat and do a better job of creating some space and finishing blocks.''

"Saban said he absolved the officials of any blame.

"That's not why we won or lost, so let's not get too sideways on all of that," Saban said.

"How did [the Steelers] get down there to start with?""

Does that sound like a guy who is whining, or trying to blame a loss on a bad call? Is it too much to ask that people actually read what he said before making this stuff up?

Look how hard he is trying to prove he doesn't have a weak arm! :sofunny:

Your point is taken PhinPhan. Saban accepted responsibility. Stupidness happens. Next time he'll act with some authority. This time he and his team can do the crocodile tears thing. Wouldn't have changed the outcome anyway.

That's the thing...the media is doing the crocodile tears thing, not Saban or the team.

Great article.

Well, now it's time to move on to Jacksonville and beat another team with our backup QB if need be. Hopefully we won't have to hear Del Rio cry.

Crap article. Saban took responsability for the loss. The article is misleading, and ignores the facts.
