Loooooooong time left in this game. I don't doubt the Pats anymore, Brady has too much gay pride to lose to the Bills.

Well thats a relief.

To sum up.

We dug ourselves an almighty hole early with the Brady fumble, awful O-Line play and a porous run D.

Luckily it picked up from there and im pleased to say that both units responded - especially the D.

Corey Dillon appears to be back to his best, but ill wait to confirm that against a better D than Buffalo - and maroney looks incredibly exciting - again lets see how he does after 3 or 4 games.

A bit of struggle, like the Pittsburgh/Miami game, but we got it done.

There is a hell of a lot of work to do, but a win is a win...is a win.

It's Jacksonville, who gives a damn about Jacksonville unless you are (sadly) from Jacksonville. I still don't understand how that city earned a NFL team.

Dude you are such a tool. We listened to your stupid crap about proclaiming the Pats the team to beat in the pre-season when they were blowing out the likes of the Cards. Now I give them a ton of credit for coming back and winning this game. But the Pats look far from the team you proclaimed them to be in the pre-season. It took a safety to beat a J.P. Losman led Bills team for crying out loud.

The Pats are still a very good football team but have some issues like most to all teams in the NFL. Its not that clear cut like you made it sound in the pre-season. Lay off the crack it will do you good.

As far as I can see its not purely Hardwork who is engaging in 'ridiculous talk'.

Lets be honest here, it doesn't take very long for juvenile comments to appear on Patriots related threads - or in fact any threads that aren't 100% pro-Steeler.

I don't have to point out who these people are, everyone already knows - but they clearly get a free pass to post nonsense in a forum that is not supposed to contain smack.

To my mind, that includes comments about Belichick, Brady and Palmer that have very little to do with real football based analysis.

Dont get me wrong, I dont find it upsetting in anyway, you should just know that these things work both ways and it often leads to threads going down the pan pretty quick if other posters decide to post the same way.

I choose not to for the most part.

Well if I am guilty of making any ridiculous then let me know. I forone always try to have a level head. But my whole issue with hardwork was his nonsense of bragging about pre-season wins. Its not like the Pats are the Cards or some other sorry franchise were good signs mean something in the pre-season. The Pats have had bigger and more important wins in their history to brag about it.

The Pats again showed the heart of a champion with their comeback today. I give them a ton of credit for that. But hardwork was proclaiming the season over and the Pats were going to win 34-0 every game. Not thats is truely ridiculous.

I don't recall ever making gay jokes about Tom Brady. If anything I have always stated that I think he is the best QB in the NFL. Even though I hate the guy. So check your facts about me jack. What happened to that great offense today? You were bragging how they dropped 31 or 34 on the Cards in the pre-season. What was it a big 17 today. It took a safety to beat the J.P. Losman led Bills.

Thankfully we do have an ignore feature. Just click on his name, then click 'view public profile.' When it comes up, you'll see the option to put that user on your ignore list. Hardwork's already on mine.

And unfortunately no, I haven't gotten KC tickets yet. I want to take my dad to the game, but somehow he found out how much tickets are going for, and he keeps telling me not to spend that much on a ticket for him. "In the 70's and 80's tickets only cost..." I'll probably do it anyway though.

Hey 32,

You know you aren't one of the posters who bring the level of this site down - I loved your fact/stats post earlier in the off-season.

All I am saying is that there are a few Steelers posters who talk about non-football related cr*p in the NFL forum - normally right in the middle of threads relating to the Patriots or Bengals.

Its clear they think they have a free-pass because they will tell you that they are 'Steelers fans on a Steelers forum' - that may well be, but rules are rules and these people lower the tone.

Maybe our new Mods can alter the rules to allow Steeler fans to officially say what they want, but then complain when fans of other teams respond in kind - that is all they are after - its a simple minded baiting technique.

Hardwork is being deliberatley annoying, but im afraid you have at least 3 or 4 Steelers posters who do exactly the same.

Yah Maroney did look good, but I wont be upgrading the Bills to a good level of opposition just yet, so we'll see how he does against potential playoff teams.

The good news is that Dillon looked back to somewhere near his best aswell - the 6 yard run to ice the game on 4th and 2 was absolutely priceless and absolutely Corey.

Brady should get a little more help from the existing WR corps once they adjust to the regular season pace - it will be a relief to have Gabriel and Jackson back in the mix sometime soon also.
