none of them have prior head coaching experience at any level.

b. childress vikings
s. payton saints
linehan rams
mangini jets

good job rooks. im thinking all went into their 1st games as the underdog.

Mangini was never a HC at any level, but he was the DB coach of the Pats during their SB run and was promoted last season to DC when Crennell left. He also was one of Belichick's in Cleveland years ago and also worked closely with Belichick when he was the HC of the Jets. I think this guy may turn this franchise around. Just a hunch.
