Hey everyone, I just wanted to find out who everyone thinks is the best RB in the NFL. I know it's not Steelers related, but I'm just wondering.
In my opinoin, the best RB in the league is LaDanian Tomlinson. To see why I think this, just take a look at his stats.
Career Stats
Rushing
1733 carries 7492 yards a career 4.3 ypcarry avg 73 rushing touchdowns.
Recieving
345 catches 2410 recieving yards a 7.0 ypcatch avg 8 recieving touchdowns.
Passing(yes he has passing stats, and decent ones at that)
5 of 7 106 yards passing for a 15.14 ypa attempt avg. 4 passing touchdowns.
Defensive
4 career tackles.
I know the defensive stats are irrevalant, but it's not everyday that you see a RB with tackles other than special teams guys.
If you add up the yards, he has 10,008 career yards, and if you add up the touchdowns, he has 85 career touchdowns (rushing, recieving, and passing combined). Also another note, he has only missed 1 career game.
Todays stats weren't added into the career stats. 19 carries, 71 yards rushing for 2 tds. 7 catches for 51 recieving yards. 0 for 1 passing. So that makes 87 career touchdowns.
If this topic annoys people who only want this site to be about the steelers, let me know and I will delete it. I was just wondering who other people thought were the bast back in the league.
