I am taking ideas for future columns. Anything/person/topic you'd like to see explored? Please let me know.

Thanks

Greg

How about what is the psychology of a fan that is so engrossed in players like TO?

Yesterday ESPN radio ratings(which many listen to on their computer) were out of site, espn.com got more hits than they have ever had in one day. Why? Is it because we are a compassionate nation and we do not like to see anyone suffer? Is it because we enjoy seeing rich people go down? Does a psychologist really know what makes people like TO click? Many say they do not like how TO acts, how he uses the NFL, etc but do they really feel that way? I know you are a minister, maybe YOU know why people seek attention. In my mind, TO is the best WR in the NFL today, but I really believe the man is a headcase and I did not believe he tried to commit sucide, not when I heard there was "woman" there. Do people who seriouslyu consider sucide do so with others around? Tony Dungy's son didn't. To me, that would be an interesting topic.
thanks for all you do!~:tt02:

That was an excellent suggestion, Lyn. I can't write that article for SF since it is not Steelers related, but I have written it, and it should be up soon, at www.mopsquad.com in the football section.

I will be sure and read it! For something Steeler related maybe you can do an article on Haggans? I truly could use some help from the SF more astute observers - what exactly is it that Clark Haggans does that keeps him in as a starter? I'm not down on the guy I just don't see anything that says he must be on the field for the Steelers.

And if you do any NCAA articles, how about explaining the Clock Rule?
thanks, lyn:)

No problem. Glad you enjoyed it. Your other idea was intriguing as well. That one may be more difficult, but I will work on it.
