You can quote me on this "Cilpepper's career is over!"
The idiots at Sports Illustrated Picked them to beat the Steelers in the playoffs on their way from the 6th seed to win the Super Bowl. Another reason I do not like SI. It is a good thing that SI has good photographers cause their writers stink.

Culpepper on injury report, misses at least portion of practice

October 5, 2006

DAVIE, Fla. (AP) -- Miami Dolphins quarterback Daunte Culpepper was added to the team's injury report Thursday because of a shoulder problem, and missed at least a portion of the team's daily workout.

The Dolphins did not specify if Culpepper, who tore knee ligaments last season and is still battling mobility issues caused by that injury, missed the entire practice.

He was listed as probable for Sunday's game at New England.

Culpepper, who was not on the Wednesday injury report, has been sacked 21 times this season, putting him on pace to be sacked more than any other quarterback in one year.

"That's just football," Culpepper said Wednesday. "It doesn't worry me at all because I know we're going to get it right. I'm very positive about that because I know what we can do. I know it. I've seen it. We just have to do it on a consistent basis."

Culpepper has completed 81 of 134 passes for 929 yards, two touchdowns and three interceptions for the Dolphins, who are off to a 1-3 start. His quarterback rating of 77.0 this season ranks 20th.

Yeah -- I always liked Daunte - he had the perfect offense in Minnesota for a couple of years Moss, Carter, Smith, a great O-line - but I think you're right -- his career is probably done -- he will be demoted to "capable back-up status" before the year is out ... you know it's bad when there's a QB controversy and your back-up is Harrington

Amazing how quickly Daunte and Randy fall from grace after leaving the Vikings...could a lot of their success been attributed to the system?

Time for Joey Harrington to make things worse.
