It's a long, long road for us to get to the top, but Denver certainly helped tonight.

What a defensive battle that game was until the last third of the 4th Q when Jake got his head out of his behind and started completing passes. Good job Denver D and a big thanks to the Broncs! (I don't even care that the Rats' defensive meltdown late in the game or their O's failure to get Stover in FG position other than once cost me a FF matchup tonight - LOL!)

Hopefully, this will be a much-needed catalyst to get the boys back on the right track. :tt02:

It's now 12:31 AM on Tuesday morning and the Rats still SUCK. :jammin:

Yep, thanks Broncos for helping restore the AFCN to its rightful owners, the Cincinnati Bengals.

Looks like I'm going to be rooting for a lot of different teams to help leverage out the AFC North. If that's what it takes... :helmet:

Ravens losing hopefully will start their slide - the score in their game with the Panthers this week will probably be 3-2. Even assuming they survive their schedule and make the playoffs, with that offense the Ravens are an early out.

Steelers need to take care of business, in which case other teams may start coming back to them (Ravens/injury depleted Jax). But since 9-7 is not going to get it done (that would be 8-4 from here on out), they need to win out at home (KC, Denver, Browns, Ravens, Saints, Tampa Bay) and, in addition to taking care of business on the road against the Browns and Raiders, beat the Ravens on the road and win at least one of the three road games against Carolina, Atlanta, and Cincy. Beating Denver and the Ravens twice appears essential in order to avoid facing even more problems with tiebreakers for competing wild card candidates.

That gets 11-5 - based on performance to date that is not going to happen but they need to start getting their swagger back against the Chiefs this weekend in order to start on the long road back.
