I thought this was an interesting read. It's only one page, but it gives some insight into what makes Ike tick and his commitment to success.

It's from the latest issue of SI. The shiny paper didn't scan all that well but you can still read it.

Even more amazing they say he ran a 4.18 40 yard dash at the NFL combine.

That's gotta be the record.

Interesting article.

BTW... Whoever scanned that article, you may want to pull it off the net. don't want copyright issues... Especially since we have a link now.

(Sorry... don't mean to be a killjoy.. I gotta deal with this kinda stuff... always am aware of it. I would hate for some SI person to find it.)

Ike is as close to a shut down corner as the Steelers have had...well...since they had a good enough front 4 to not worry about coverage...(like the 70's)...

They need to go ahead and sign him for at least another 3-4 years.

WHAT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Do you not remember a guy named Woodson on our team in the late 80's and 90's!

He's only the best db to play the game!

Great article. I bet there are a lot of amazing storeis like that and I'm glad SI picked up on it. I like Ike!! It makes me proud to have a guy like him......versus a Chris Henry screw up. What a waste.

Whoops...my bad...

Woodson was a shutdown corner...until that odd game against the Packers of all teams.

His head went south after that.

Still...yes...a great player.

Best corner to ever play?

Maaaybe...

One of the top 3 for sure...
