What sounds good for Davenport? He needs a nickname, and who better to give him one? :tt02: Some have suggested that he "hammers it in", another suggested his jersey # (which is ironically close to 4x4), others relating to a Truck (which is smaller than a bus, but in the same family. So what do ya'll like?

I yield all references to "dump" after how he has been playing in the short time he's been here........Welcome to the Steelers, 4x4!!!! 4Wheel Drive Davenport!!!!

I like Dump truck to symbolize how he dumps defenders on their arses.
It's great to be a Steeler this morning!!!!

Voted for 4x4...can't really argue against that, even though I liked the dump truck name too.

Eh, didn't know that. I hate rhyming nicknames anyways, alliteration or cleverness is better in my opinion.

I actually like that, that is the "clever" stuff I am talking about.
I would like Magnum added to the poll, if not I guess 4x4 is second best, three syllables is pushing the "roll off the tongue" aspect of a good nickname.

Davenport looked sharp yesterday. Hopefully this guy will continue to grow and become a successful part of our offense.

I'd add Magnum to the poll if I could, as that's another great one! Those who like it have to put it in their post, and we'll add up all the votes for it at the end of the poll
Those who prefer that to one they already voted for can say so in a post, and the one voted for will be deducted.

Magnum is a cute nickname, but I like the 4x4 a little better, so I'm sticking with my vote.

Make a new poll
Sure, I can do that--is there anyway possible to delete a whole thread? If it can't be deleted, you can change your vote to anything else you like--just make sure you let me know so I can tally all the changes :)

I originally started calling him Mini-Bus yesterday.
But That would get old for him REAL fast.

I've heard him called that too--it's just that so many had written posts suggesting other names, that perhaps a new one would fit better? But if everyone still likes that one, it could be added to the poll too--I'm open to any and all suggestions!
