I am not talking the most disappointing loss, which would need to be in an AFC Championship or Super Bowl.

But in terms of a loss that killed a season against a really bad team, the only rival to today's debacle for me was the 1999 loss to the expansion Browns (16-15 on a last second FG). That ended the 1999 season with the team going 1-6 after that loss to end the season.

Howver, that team ws not a defending SB champ.

I am serious - today's loss is the worst regular season loss of the Cowher era, which effectively is over as of today since I believe he is gone.

You can say that again. Next week hopefully I can provide some relief at Heinz Field in the Rematch of the AFC Championship Game of 1 year ago.
