Most of the posts right now are ripping on the Steelers, & most of them are made by people that I've never seen on here before. If you're not gonna speak positive, then don't speak at all. This is when you show your support for the team, when times are rough. Yeah, I'll admit that they're not playing real good. But I'm not gonna give up on this season just yet, not until we're officially knocked out of the playoff picture. So quit hating & show some support!! :tt02: :tt02: :tt02:

Even at 2-5 or 5-2 or 2-14 or as Super Bowl champs the Steelers will always be my team. It doesn't matter if the Steelers don't win another game this year. I will always be a fan of the Steelers. My sig says it all baby.

Well said. I hate when people freak out "omg what should we do?!!!". Do you have any idea how many times we've been through this? Kordell and Tommy...shit that was a few years ago, its not like this is new to Pittsburgh, football, or anyone. We can't win every game, we shouldn't: remember what happened when we did that (15-1, no ring?). Yes we aren't looking good right now, it doesnt matter what our schedule looks like ahead, it doesnt matter who we play.

WHO CARES IF WE PLAY CLEVELAND TWICE? Those aren't automatic wins.
I sure as hell know I counted Oakland as an auto-win before the season, look what happened there?

Just sit back, root for your team, let the coaching staff and administration do what they get paid to do and work it out, and lets get back on track, win some games, and give those division teams hell.

I may very well be one of the ones "[coming] out of the woodwork," but things are bad right now. Today was a humiliating loss. I do not consider myself a bandwagon fan, but I think we need to recognize that we have problems that we need to resolve ASAP. Yes, we're the reigning Super Bowl champions, but this is a new year and that means very little except for the fact that we go into every game with a target on our backs (and yea, I realize I say 'our' and the most I do is watch the game in my 43 jersey while waving a Terrible Towel).

I'll agree that it's frustrating seeing people claim that "we suck" or whatever. On the same token, however, there are a lot of valid points being raised that, quite frankly, I like seeing discussed. There are positives and negatives to this season. Unfortunately, right now, there are more of the latter than the former. I think the vast majority of the people who take the time to post on this forum are still going to be in front of their TV or there in person come next week cheering just as loud and hoping just as hard.

Maybe this is a moot point, but I think seeing some chatter about where we're going wrong is a good thing. Because we won XL doesn't give us a free pass to this year's playoffs. I, for one, will keep the faith that we're going to recover from this start - but I'm not going to bank on it, and we're not going to do it unless we start making some adjustments.

Yes, we're the XL champions.
Yes, we're the five-time champions.
Yes, we come from (or believe in) a great and rightfully-proud city.
Yes, we're one of the few teams with a true 'Nation.'
No, we're not perfect.
