Let me tell you, I just have a sinking worrying feeling as a Saints fan down here in New Orleans. It's games like tomorrow that the "Old," Saints used to lose..games that show alot about a teams character and guts. With that said, I know this isn't the old Saints, but, it is a game for the Steelers that they HAVE to win...similar to Baltimore a couple of weeks ago. I fully expect the Steelers to come out bulldozing tomorrow and pumped at home. Now, for the Saints...they need to play smooth, smart ball to beat a truly desperate Steelers team. I am expecting a good game and, obviously hope the Saints win. It's going to be fun, either way. Here's hoping to a good, SAFE game for both teams. I hope some of you were able to visit us a www.saintsreport.com during this past week. I know I gave an invite last week, but, I was particularly busy this week with work and didn't visit the forum too much. If you visited the site, I hope you had a good time with Saints fans down South in the "recovering" New Orleans. Cheers guys and gals! GO SAINTS!!

Hah! Thanks for the good wishes. Recovery is well under way and the city is very populated, once again. As for me, I only had my roof blown off and that was replaced within 8 weeks of the storm. My area of New Orleans did not flood. Plenty of family and friends did flood...real deep, too. But, they've all bulldozed their homes and are beginning the reconstruction phase.

I'm not sure how most other Steelers fans are feelin right now, but I'm just kinda in limbo. I mean, I'm excited about the game tomorrow, just not expectin anything. I'm "prepared" either way.

I know if our guys can hang onto the ball, in all likelihood, they'll get a win. HowEVer--I'm sure that all the football world is well aware, that hasn't been happenin too much this season, and I have no idea if they'll get the sticky hands they need in time for Sunday's game.

As for me, I considered LAST weeks game a "must win", as now it's no longer in our team's hands alone--it would have to depend on other teams losing, and that's completely out of our control.

So if it would happen, that would be great--if not? It's just a season, and there's gonna be one next year, and I'll look forward to that one with as much enthusiasm as I did this one. :cheer:

My sentiments exactly!

Good luck and here's to a safe and injury free game!!

It's great to hear some good news coming out of your area! I know complete recovery is years away, but I for one plan on coming down there for a few days someday for some partying, good food, bizarre sights, and to raise a few "hurricanes" to the spirit of the good people of N'awlins! :jammin:

:tt02: Good thread and I wish the Saints luck today but not too much!!:tt02: :helmet: Its time for the Steelers to start thinking about PRIDE out there today!1 The rest of this season is about PRIDE.. do the Steelers know that? They better.. of course right now I would love to see us just have a top 3 or 4 draft pick since there is not much hope for our playoff run anymore...:coffee:
p.s.
May God Bless the New Orleans area and help the homeless and hungry.. God Bless You New Orleans..
