This is right before the final TD drive. Like some determined gladiator in the Roman Colosseum. Drive, desire, all the intangibles are there. Carson Cornhole would've assumed the fetal position by the 2nd quarter today.

I've got to admit, I was cringing (not to mention smacking the guy next to me) when I saw Ben come up like that. Thankfully he came thru ok. You go Ben!!!

Wait..when did Russell Crowe start playing QB for the Steelers???

My bad, I got that confused with Gladiator.

Every time I watch it, I just think of "Terminator" where Ahnold's skin get's torn up and everything, and you see the titanium beneath, lol.

So does that mean Ben's telling the rest of the league..."We'll be bahck":tt02:

Thanks for that video. Check out the Browns player in the background. He has this look on his face like "Man, didn't our guys just pound him into the turf? How do you stop that guy?"

I'll save this video for some of my buddies who always tell me Ben is a flash in the pan who will fade away like Kordell.

Big Ben is a piece of work no doubt about it. You can't help but like the guy. And you can't help but worry if you're playing him.

You know...watching it now is completely different than during the game. During the game, i was just HURTING for the guy. He got BEAT UP. Now...you look at that and just see the determination while he's getting up. WARRIOR ALL THE WAY.

I can't remember who it was, but somebody else in the league had an emergency appendectomy last week. They said that player would be out for a few weeks.

Big Ben was playing 10 days after his. So he's tougher than most, that's for sure.

Yeah.....that "guy" was me!!! Thanks for the bruises, Flood!! :wink02: (Actually, I think you had moved next to my husband by then. Now we have matching bruises!!) :toofunny:

I have ALWAYS considered Ben a true warrior!!! Think about what this kid has gone through in the last 6 months. And he still gets up and plays his heart out. Bashers be gone!!!

Hey...didn't Trent Green get a concussion in Week 1?? It's not Week 11 and he just made his return! 10 weeks to recover from a concussion...how long was Ben out?? 5 days??

Warrior.

Ben is very tough but Trent's concussion was a severe conscussion where Ben's was a slight one... I love Ben and as I have been saying ... just give the young man time and he will be just fine...:tt02:

Sorry! At least you can say that I'm enthusiastic enough so that you're not bored when you watch games with me! LOL Next time I'll make sure to sit on the other side of your hubby for the whole game! :chuckle:

Ben is great, he is better than great. Anybody who feels like saying otherwise can face the Steeler nation (and me) so good luck to anyone who feels like opening their mouths.

If not a fan of Ben, but you love football, you have to admire this guy. I dont know if he has been like this his entire life or if he learned from Hines. This guy is a gamer, knock him down, run him over, take out his appendix. And he keeps coming.

He might be a warrior and all, but all I know is that I hate my QB getting up like that. If he was protected better, he wouldn't be getting up like that.

I LOVE IT! Ben is a stud, three INT's or not.

Up here in Seattle, they have poor old Shaun Alexander and his hurt foot. Once the doctors told him there was NO WAY he coud play, he then came out and acted like he was going to play.
