:banging: Im sorry but im just ranting my frustration with JAX/Rbirds(two of my most hated teams) not slipping and continuing to win while Plex and Eli shixxing the bed and blowing a game I thought they could have stole away from JAX..what a bunch of bums..these few games that JAX/Birds/KC have won are the same type of games that we blew..hopefully we can get these teams to slip some for us to sneak in..

go stillers :tt02:

Eli will never be as good as Peyton. Tiki is smart to retire this year before this team really becomes a turd in a punch bowl.

Come on people....

How many times did we learn to NEVER place our hopes on Plaxico. I can't beleive you all forgot that lesson!

I really don't think Eli was ever there in the game tonight. He sorta had that "deer in the headlight" look on his face like his mind was somewhere else. Just my .02 worth.:coffee:

As hard as it is for me to say this - the Steelers dug their own hole this season and though they appear to be starting to dig their way out of it, will a late season surge be enough? Time will tell, but having to rely on a whole host of other teams to get us into the playoffs sucks. The Steelers control their own destiny and unfortunately, that is the only thing they can control at this point.

Jags raped the G-men, I was pretty upset

The G-Men got hosed in the draft-day trade of Eli for Rivers.

Rivers will get at least one ring in San Diego,Eli will never get one. The Bolts turned the other two draft picks into Merriman who is a beast with or without steroids and Kaeding thier kicker.

So in one draft the Bolts get a franchise QB who will get them a Super Bowl ring,a linebacker that might go down as one of the best ever, and a kicker that seems to be pretty clutch.

The G-Men get Eli Manning,an over-hyped whiny little beotch who's "pedigree" doesn't mean shit. Then they got duped by Plexi-glass and his agent into thinking Plex actually has heart.

If the Steelers offense would have appeared in Jax there would be no need to worry about tiebreakers with Jax; Steelers dug the same hole with the same team last year.

As Hometown Gal says, if they can dig themselves out again more power to them, but it is ridiculous a team with this much talent is 4-6.

That having been said, with regard to the game last night I did enjoy hearing Plax get called out by the announcers after he went into a snit and failed to make a tackle after an Eli quacker was intercepted. Maybe Plax still thinks college rules apply in Jax (the scene of his 2000 spike after he fell down without being tackled) and that the DB was down.

As for Eli, I guess we will not be hearing again from Mike Lupica this week on how fortunate the Giants are to have Eli rather than Ben.

Whatever. JAX still plays the Colts, Patriots and Chiefs. We're bound to get some help there, without having to rely on an overrated douchenozzle like Eli Manning.

Well, unless we get help from an overrated douchenozzle like Peyton Manning, but a win is a win.

Good point, I didn't realize how tough the rest of their schedule was.

Yeah, and plus, aren't the Chiefs one of the teams fighting for the wild card? Somebody has to lose that game, so we get help by default.

Yeah, but at this stage for some games it depends whether your longshot hopes rest with the division or the wildcard. For example, to preserve a division chance (Steelers need to win out and if they do that they are then not more than 2 games back of Baltimore) the Steelers need to have Cincy & KC beat Baltimore.

There are no good options but I believe winning the division is not quite as unlikely as getting a wildcard. The Steelers suddenly rousing themselves and winning out is of course less likely than any chance of playing in January

was not expecting much from the giants, with there 2 top d-lineman hurt. you can't rely on others to always help you out. the steelers have to do for self. 1st they need to win out and then worry about everyone else.
