The Steelers were runaway choices as "the team that is the most painful and punishing to play against" in a poll conducted by Sports Illustrated of 361 players who were in NFL training camps this summer.

That means, of course, they were polled after the Steelers won the Super Bowl and before they won only two games in the first half of this season
.
The Steelers received 31 percent of the small sampling of players. Their opponents Sunday, the Baltimore Ravens, were second with 11 percent. Six of the top eight teams are from the AFC. The information is in this week's issue of the magazine.

i was listening to brian bilick on his weekly sirius radio spot. he said regardless of the records, this weekends game was gonna be the toughest, most physical opponent the ravens have faced all year. he is not taking them lightly. as well he shouldnt.

We're not taking Baltimore lightly either.

I think Sunday's game is going to be a tough, physical, brutal game between two teams that respect each other, but dislike each other intensely. Bring 'em on! :tt02: :jammin:

I think the Jags should be up there.

Throw the Browns in, heck, they they took 5 of our starters in that game. Two may never play again. Usually the Browns seem pretty harmless, but they sure injured a lot of our players.

It's all part of the "sibling" rivalry.
