Steelers | Polamalu out for Week 13, possibly longer
Mon, 27 Nov 2006 12:19:11 -0800
Ed Bouchette, of the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette, reports Pittsburgh Steelers (http://www.kffl.com/team/30/nfl) SS Troy Polamalu (http://www.kffl.com/player/5973/nfl) (knee) is out for Week 13 due to a sprained medial collateral ligament in his left knee. It will be the first game Polamalu will miss in his professional career, and he will likely be sidelined for more than one game. However, surgery is not required and he is hopeful to return to the field at some point in the season.

Well we will get a glimpse at Reid hopefully down the stretch to see what he might bring to the table for us and how he might be able to help the Steelers next year.

next year, willie reid will be a big part of the special teams, that was a huge issue this year. we need a guy that has explosive speed that wont fumble unlike holmes and colclough. he should get a few catches next year also. i really wish he wouldnt of got injured last year.

Man, that's a long list. We have had some pretty crappy luck with the injury bug this year. Hopefully we can finish out the season healthier and in one piece.

Ward needs to sit out 3+ games, no need to rush back and get hurt worse from an injury with the season we are having. It is time to start letting the injured heal and seeing what the reserves are going to step up.
