ANOTHER BENGAL BUSTED
Man, you can't make this stuff up.
After a couple of quiet months, another member of the Cincinnati Bengals has gotten into trouble.
This time, it's receiver Reggie McNeal, who was arrested early Sunday for trying to get into a Houston nightclub after it had closed.
McNeal, a rookie, played quarterback in college for Texas A&M.
An off-duty Houston Police Department officer was working security at the club. McNeal reportedly became aggressive and pushed the officer when he was told that he couldn't enter.
McNeal was also involved in the incident from earlier in the season that resulted in the banishment of linebacker OdellThurman and a one-game deactivation of Chris Henry. It was McNeal's vehicle that Thurman was driving while intoxicated, and from which Henry was vomiting while Thurman was being arrested.
The Bengals have worked their way to 7-5 after a rocky start to the season.

Glad to see the mentoring of Thurman & Henry is showing results.

Is anyone really suprised??? Anymore the only thing that shocks me about that team of thugs is that their arrests are still considered newsworthy!!!

Partly explains why Glenn Holt, the undrafted free agent out of Kentucky, has seen the field over McNeal.

For what? Most players arrested on a single team in one season? Hang on, I'll go look that up.

You have to wonder how much heat Marvin will take in the offseason for all the disfunction with this team this year

Bengal fans and that organization just don't think like you. I know it's a hard concept. They could care less about having a team of thugs and criminals as long as they get some W's. They'd recruit straight from prison if they thought it would help. Poor things. :shake01:

Have you ever seen the replacements. Where they bail out a convict to play football. Sounds like todays bengal tactics

ESPN Sports Guy Bill Simmons has a good rip on the Bengals arrest record in his weekly picks column (Simmons notes the Bengals are playing very well, so gregstephens and friends cannot blame Simmons' rip by claiming jokes about the arrest record are just an obsession of bitter Steelers fans):
What about seven Bengals players getting arrested out of 53? That's 13 percent of the team! Imagine if 13 percent of your office or classroom had been arrested in the past few months? Can they get to 10 before the end of the season? You figure with holiday parties coming, that's good for one DUI. And the holidays bring visitors and family members, which usually brings trouble, so that's good for some sort of incident at a party or a club. So we only need one more wild-card arrest -- something harmless like speeding and attempting to evade an officer, or shoplifting a Christmas present of something -- and then we'll be at 10. Now that would be something. Ten Bengals arrested in one year? We'll be telling our grandkids about that one. Keep your fingers crossed.

Thanks for sharing Dan. Yet another reason to look forward to the Holidays! :sofunny:
