I'm convinced after this massive victory in Carolina that we are back!!! Talk about a christmas miracle if we could win out and get some help to get into the playoffs. And have the same type of run we had last year.

I think its a little too much too late. To many things have to go our way before we can even think about making the playoffs. IMHO

Nice to get back to .500

Time to payback the Ratbirds and put a damper on their quest to have HFA.

Lets Go Steelers!

If we were 8-6, not 7-7, I'd say it was possible. It is going to require one heck of a miracle to pull off a playoff appearance. I want so much to ignore the odds, yet the likelyhood of getting the help we need is very unlikely.

Regardless, let's finish strong, 9-7!!!!!

I've said it this whole season: 6th seed baby, 6th seed. We pulled it off last year and we can do it again this year. Sure it's an up hill climb but stranger things have happened.

I think we are going to take the ravens out next week. It's going to be way different on our turf

Agreed...We can ride this momentum into next week and strike a blow to the ratbirds. Big D...more like our mud pit!

If the Steelers make the play-offs then lets have this conversation. I love the positive thinking. But finally the Steelers are looking like the Steelers. The team that I expected to see all year has finally showed up the last month or so.

But the Jags choking today was huge for the Steelers. Now if the Colts can somehow just attempt to play defense then maybe the Colts can give the Steelers another gift.

The loss to the Raiders will probably prove to be the nail in the coffin. I just don't think the jets lose twice.

One week at at time. Realistically, the Oakland and Atlanta games buried us.

Exactly, we shall see if we answer next weeks challenge. we only beat cleve twice, TB, and Carolina. Not a real test.

I agree - when we lost to Oakland - I took the attitude of just sitting back and enjoying the rest of the season -- but it will be nice to beat the Ravens - I think there is a chance Boller starts if McNair's hand injury is serious at all...

I don't always understand it when fans break out the "one game at a time" line. It doesn't really matter how far down the road WE look.

As far as the SB this year? You're crazy. We have beat threee bad teams the last three weeks. The last time we took the field against a good team in Baltimore, we got our butts handed to us for 60 minutes. This team is far from a SB contender.

Playoffs? Nope. There are way too many things out of our control to make it happen. Sure, I realize that mathematically we have a shot, but so do the Titans, the Jags, the Bills, the Jets, and the Chiefs. Maybe next year. :dang:

You know.. after the loss to the Ravens, I thought the season was absolutely over. However, we just may still be in it. Yeah, we need a christmas miracle...

but it has happened before.
