I think this is going to be the hardest game of the season for the Ravens. Going into heinz is always a battle. After the last game, I know you'll be gunning for us. Were looking for a first round bye and your trying to make it in the post season.

This will probably be the game of the week to watch.

I hope your right! Hopefully we learned something from the last meeting! Hopefully we can protect Ben for atleast 3 seconds. Lastly I would think the ravens may not play everyone the entire game, looking ahead a bit, get everyone healthy and rested.

GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOooooooooooooooo Steelers!

Intangibles? we need this!:tt02:

I doubt the Ravens will put 27 on the board this time. I know the Steelers won't get shut out again.

I just hope we show up for this one and not get Ben killed.

I'm feeling good about the continuity of the team right now. And they were very suspect early in the season. Now they've got some confidence and I think with this game at home, on Christmas eve, it's going to be a great game...I see the Steelers winning this one by 10.

I think we will be OK this game. That last ass beating left a bad taste in our mouth. Hopefully we can return the favor this week. We are definitely playing better.

The gameplan that the coaches had for the first game was maybe the worst I've ever seen as a Steeler's fan.

If BC and the boys don't know that they are going to blitz and make Ben and the WR'S beat them then we will be in the same position that we were in the first game.

You have to open up the passing game to beat the ravens. The gameplan we had against Cleveland will not work on these guys. I will be very interested to see how it plays out.

Welcome to SF DarkRaven.  I agree that it is going to be a whale of a game and I believe our guys are going to be totally pumped and ready to bring it on! I'd say good luck, but I'm an honest person and wouldn't mean it - LOL! :wink02:

So hey.....what is the general feeling among Raven fans? Easy win Sunday like last time? Are you guys worried about anyone on the Steelers? Willie Parker has gone over 100 yards rushing at home every game this season.

Well, I must admit the Steelers are the Ravens biggest rival. The Ravens take the Steelers seriously in every facet of the game. These two teams truly hate each other but respect each other's talent. The Steeler fans rival may still be the Cleveland Browns, but since they returned to the league, I'm not sure if that same rivarly is there.

Expect the Ravens starters to be active throughout the entire game. There isn't a day when the Ravens will sleep on the Steelers, trust me. The Steelers are probably the best team with some bad breaks this season. The Steelers chemistry has never been a question, but I do question if Ben Rothlisberger was actually ready to play earlier in the season.

I know several Raven fans and lahoni who is one of them who goes to the ravens games dressed like a total clown in purple hair and chains and shoot everything he can put on. He seems to think Ravens will sweep us. But he thinks that every year.

Personally I do not see us loosing. We have regained momentum and playing with some pride now. Ravens have never sweeped us. But we have sweeped them before several seasons.

Positives:
1. Offensive Line has started to block better.
2. Seen some better Offensive Play Calling
3. Defense is putting more pressure on QB
4. Defense has only allowed 13 points in the last 3 games
5. Special teams for the first time is looking decent
6. Big Ben is showing signs of old self returning.
7. Turnovers - What turnovers. Were holding onto the ball.
8. This is the best one, were not going out without a fight and I love it.

Well DarkRaven you seem like a cool dude. So here is to a good game with no injuries. I myself consider the Ravens the Steelers biggest rival. They are the orginal Browns and for the most part have been the Steelers biggest threat in the old AFC Central and AFC North since 2000.

I think most Steelers players would consider the Raven their biggest rival also. The Browns will always be a rival since they are Cleveland and the Bengals rivalry has been heated lately since the Bengals are actually good these days.

But there is nothing like Ravens/Steelers week to me. If the Steelers go 2-14 I would hope those two wins would be against the Ravens.

Yeah, field position will be a big plus for you guys. Ever since we loss B.J Sams for the season, our Special teams unit hasn't been the best in regards to field position. Your lack of turnovers lately will be a huge plus because the Ravens thrive off of making the QB make mistakes.

And if your O-line has really stepped up then I think its going to be a hell of game.

You and I both. my hatred for the Bengals has been pretty solid these past two seasons.

I hope noone gets injured, Ben throws for 984 yards, willie runs for 526 yards, the defense gets 57 picks, 82 sacks, and 73 forced fumbles, and a blocked kick. The Ravens get shut out, and the Steelers score as many points as possible under NFL rules.

Realistically, I hope noone gets injured, Ben throws for 300+ yards, Willie runs for 130+ yards, we win, and also get at least 2 picks and 3 sacks.
