I love Stanley, but the Bus just brings a swagger and an attitude that feeds off the whole team.

Duce all the way. Save Jerome for later in the season, when staley might start to be wearing down.

It depends on who's hot & who's not...

Both of 'em can run anybody over and fit well into or offense.

So, whomever is RUNNING PEOPLE OVER is fine with me

Haynes and Parker!!

It's time for the young,"healthy",RB's to carry the rock, and start a new generation of the next great Steeler running back.

I think we should trade Staley, for some better depth at Reciever.

Staley,The Bus has already said he can't handle the load of a starting RB.

While Staley hasn't been the healthy back in the league. If given the chance everybody got the chance to see what he could last year before the injury. It's best to start staley and let bettis feel in when needed. J. Bettis has to be the most selfless player in the league. Even when he has the oppurtunity to start he still realizes where his role is best needed. He's a sure fire HOF'er without question.

I think Staley is gonna have a HUGE year!

I think Staley is gonna have a HUGE year!

I think he has a good chance of being the NFL's leading rusher this year if he stays healthy.

With how often we run the ball (we won't run as much this year, but we'll still run a lot) and his style of running he can possibly lead the league if he plays a full season as starter.

I think we should start Staley. Keep Bettis as the backup. It worked well last year.

Start the Bus and beat teams to death with the big guy early and unleash Staley toward the end

Duce, without a doubt....He was very effective before he was injured, if they were not giving all the TD's to Bettis....you would have heard a lot more about Duce. He had 707 yard after 7 games before the injury.

Staley, he won the job last year.

I couldn't agree more.. The Bus will do it if he has to, but I think Staley will have a very good year, say over 1500 yards?

easy....... Staley with Parker getting more carries. If Staley goes down Parker should get the nod, keeping the Bus as a goal line threat. We only have to look at the pats game to see how easy it is teams to target the Bus, a player who can't bounce outside. Staley gives you inside and out, to keep D's honest. I also feel Parker can do the same. But the Bus ? I am sorry he shouldn't be a starter for us come the playoffs......

I'm not sure if Staley has played a whole season yet. Keep in mind, he wasn't used a lot in Philly. For an older model with low milage, he's had his share of dings. Hopefully we'll get a full year out of him. I'm also intrigued with Parker, but I'm not sure with the speed of our O-Line we can take advantage of his ability to get to the outside. He'll need to show he can wait for his blocks to set up, and also show he can take between the tackles.

You definately play the hot hand. However Duce is the pre determined starter unless injury or ineffectiveness dictate otherwise. Just gimme that same situation like early last season. Duce runs it up and down the field and Jerome comes in from the 1 and powers it in !

Haynes is a capable backup when he stays healthy. I like our stable of RB's this year.

Staley is the starter and should be the starter, last year in the AFC champ game it hurt us that Staley was rusty BC bettis was getting more carries and those fumbles kills me. the bus is the man but in his own words his body isn't cut out for more then 100 carriers now a days. and id rather have Staley warmed up all season then going thought what happened at the AFC champ game again.

p.s. didn't get me wrong the bus has been the man over the years and is a HOF that all us steeler fans love and is a great teammate and brings that spirit and heart to the team but i hate to say this his days of 30 carries a game is over.

Jerome has already said that he doesn't want as many carries as last year, and he knows Duce can get it done!

Staley...Bettis doesn't have the juice to carry the ball the entire season anymore.

Duce, repeat last years formula.

Lets go worse case scenario...Bettis starts then gets stuffed early and often, you bench a fan fav/legend and bring in Duce(mo shifts to other team). Or Staley starts and gets stuffed, then you bring in Bettis. Other team is a little worried as he is fresh and something to prove. I kinda see like in MLB when Randy Johnson comes out of the bullpen after pitching the night before. Sure he may be tired, but you know he still has enough left.

I dont think it matters really, but I'd rather see duce start and keep the bus fresh for the end of the season. I love the bus as much as anyone but people tend to forget how awesome duce was in the first part of the season last year before he got banged up. Start the duce and keep the bus fresh.

Whomever is healthy. We need someone to stay healthy, this is our biggest problem.

I like Duce but he seems injury prone.
