Steelers fans don't have to worry about changing their New Year's Eve plans.
The Steelers' regular-season finale against the Cincinnati Bengals will be played Sunday at 1 p.m. as originally scheduled, team spokesman Dave Lockett said.
NBC could have selected the game for its 8:15 p.m. telecast as part of the flexible scheduling the NFL implemented this year.

Serves them right: It'll be the best game of the year, and they will be kicking themselves for it.

I wish it was moved to later. That way I would be able to watch it for sure. Oh well, I'll cross my fingers that my local affiliate makes it the morning game.

It's a logical start time considering that one team is already out of playoff contention and the other needs a win and a prayer that the worst team in the league (Raiders) wins on the road against the Jets to get in.

I agree it is the logical move...
But it is SUCH a rival game... that it is going to be a highlight real dream... IMO

On one site, I saw that the game was moved to 8:15, but everywhere else it says 1:00. I'm pretty sure it's at 1:00, but can anyone tell me for sure!!
Thanks and go steelers
