View Full Version : The real "me"...

Well I guess its about time I got around to this.

I grew up in the South Hills of Pittsburgh and then have been on a slow southern progression. My family moved to the D.C. area and then I went to school in NC. I returned briefly to Pittsburgh to go to culinary school and then came to Florida to work. I have been down here since 2000, and in a sports lovers paradise at my new kitchen location. I recently got married this summer to Mrs. Chef. We originally worked together but she was only part time as she is a school teacher by trade. We honeymooned out to California to see San Fran, Napa Valley, Yosemite, LA, and San Diego. While I can go on and on about Steelers football, she doesn't really get it, except it makes me happy so she is a keeper in my book. I found this site a while ago and just enjoy that its a little more sensible at times than other sites. I am hard headed about how great the Steelers are, but I would probably need therapy in order to feel different and I don't really want to do either. My free time is taken up by cooking in my kitchen at home, tending to my aquarium, checking Steelers/Pirates news, and of course my wife. Favorite places are the 'burgh and the Outer Banks, NC. Strange fact, is that I used to be a golf professional in VA, but decided I wanted to go into cooking.

Other Bio notes...
FAV BAND: Van Halen(roth, then hagar)
FAV TV SHOW: American Chopper(OCC), but have always been amazed by the Woodwrights Shop on PBS?
FAV MOVIE: Bull Durham, so much great philosophy about life, not just baseball.
FAV ACTOR: Always been a Tom Cruise fan.
FAV ACTRESS: Angelina Jolie is a current fav.

I very honest in my answers so if you need to know anything else, I'll usually just tell you if you ask.

Thanks for the PICA culinary school nod. I still like seeing all those guys on Liberty Ave, when I go up there, in their checkered pants and white jackets. As for where I am at, I'm now at the ESPN club on the Boardwalk at the largest resort down here:whistle: . Can't divulge too much as we have very strict rules. Its pretty fun, so maybe I can still give info, without giving away any secrets. Just to let you know, HW, DW, LITP...Tyrone Poole's rings are huge! Also Drew Rosenhous got ripped by the audience for the TO stuff 24 hours before before saving a life. Never saw that coming...will keep you all posted.
