... even though we were just playing for pride. When Holmes went in the endzone I jumped and screamed. Was everyone feeling like I was? This is our team, win or lose, Superbowl seasons or 8-8 seasons!

I need a ****tail, or 10.

Oh dude I was screaming the whole game. I really didn't want the Steelers to be swept by the Bengals this year. So even when the Steelers had calls go against them I was pissed. That call on Farrior was total bull crap. I know you have to protect the QB's but come'on that was just terrible.

Man when Holmes got loose in the open field I was jumping and screaming. Great way to end the year. Now starts the off-season.

Yea I got a laugh from that hit. It was a great hit. But I'm still loving the power bomb James Harrison put on CJ.:tt02:

The NFL protects the QB's...its the safest positon other than LS...Farrior drove that wuss Palmer into the ground...he deserved the flag...it was his shot ...maybe Carson was talking trash before the hit... we don't know ...

But the FG they missed at the end ....thats why they call them "DA BUNGALS!"

"WHO DEY"..... "WE DEY" ... and we get the last laugh!

 Thank God it was Lady Luck who kissed the 2006 season goodnight.

They save the greatest play of the season for the FINAL play of the season. I went nuts.

GOOD THING too. I was fuming from the sequence that forced us to have their kicker keep us in the game.

Why did we go to a three-man rush on a long third-and-goal? Palmer dropped back, recited the Ten Commandments, then checked game time for the Rose Bowl, then hit a tight end at the goal line. We are Blitzburgh!!

WTF with all of the taunting penalties this season. I know Willie Colon is a NYC product - once a brick always a brick - but taking a 1st and goal at the five out of the Red Zone better be the last 15-yard flag of his career.

And then the other Willie empasizes his mistake with an equally near fatal mistake of his own after some of his finest rushing of his career.

Now back to:party:

Yes I know I the NFL protects the QB. The Aaron Smith roughing the passer penalty vs Drew Brees still sticks out in my mind as one of the worst calls I have ever seen. As for the Farrior penalty. I'm still trying to figure out why he deserved the flag. I have seen worse from defensive players driving a QB into the ground and not get called. Flashback to Ben's rookie year when T. Suggs from the Ravens drove Ben into the ground. You could tell that Suggs did that with attent on hurting Ben and it wasn't called.

I was highly excitable throughout the game because it was great to finally see our guys play a good football game! of course there were moments where I just shook my head but overall I was happy with the way the guys played today, as a team. I didn't watch the whole game but for the most part it seemed like everything clicked and I'm of course happy that I won't have to watch the Bungles in the playoffs

As soon as Santanio crossed the goal line, the bungles fan in the bar I was at looked like he was going to seriously die. I calmly walked up to him....looked him right in the eye's and said,"We Dey". Then I left the bar, it was great.

This was a GREAT game (even if it's the refs who once again kept the opposing team in the game).

Glad the season is over and I hope the Steelers will show their real face next year.

You definately weren't the only happy one Cleves. When they missed that kick.....OMG.....Stillers and I went nuts....the Bengal fans either sat down (couldn't blame them) or filed out. When we trumped on it.......well......ecstatic isn't too strong of a word. You have no idea how that win helped those of us who live here.

The best part was that he had on a carson jersey, and this guy always talks shit on ben. I hope he is at the bar for the Rose Bowl tomorrow. I wana ask him how close Bens and cautions stats were.

I was totally acting the fool when Santonio made that run in OT ... I was deafening the Bengals fans nearby. I broke out my "Choke- The Official Beverage of Cincinnati football" t shirt after the game ... LOL

There was actually a couple of cool Bengals fans in our bar - one we were talking to throughout the game - actually a smart guy for a Bengals fan (I know, an oxymoron LOL)

After Shayne Graham missed that kick, one jackass was screaming F- the Steelers, F- the Steelers ...

Before this loser screamed, the girl I was sitting with refused to scream WE DEY even if we were gonna win (its a pet peeve, being gramatically incorrect LOL) ... but the way that jerk was acting, Santonio scored..... her fiance gets up and starts "I say Who Dey .. you say what?" and she I started w/ the We Dey and continued that a few times ..

LOL I apologized to cool Bengals fan ... he was nice, and minus the jersey ... he was a pretty cool guy!

What a great ending to the game, and the year!

If THAT was a great game, how would you qualify the game against KC? It was great to beat the Bungles and prevent them from making the playoffs but that's the only positive I'll remember, as far as I'm concerned. The negative side is that I saw the same mistakes and stupid penalties I've seen all season.

I was at the game yesterday and I just got done watching it again........it was just as thrilling the second time as it was the first!!! Here's is what I was able to observe watching it a second time.......

Ben was right on the mark, he had great mobility, was extremely confident and read the field well. (Welcome back Ben!) The receivers actually held onto the ball and advanced it......(thanks Hines!). Santonio, Santonio, Santonio.......welcome to the Steelers, young man!! Willie had an awesome running game......Najeh gave him a break at one point and performed well. Both the running game and the passing game were working.......we shifted comfortably from one to the other when needed. They performed really well under pressure, something that we haven't seen most of the year. As much as I hate the Bengals and Carson Palmer, you have to admit the guy is a gunslinger and he has 3 receivers that are deadly. We held Rudi Johnson back......something alot of other teams have failed to do..........good job defense! WE STOPPED THEM DEAD until the 4th quarter but was able to answer nicely......that means both our offense and our defense were in the game........finally! The one and only thing that disappointed me was Troy still didn't seem 100%. He was always there.........but never RIGHT THERE making the big tackle. Enjoy the off season Troy, heal and come back strong!

Yes, we had a couple of penalties but all in all I saw a very confident, not c*o*c*k*y Steeler team. (And I saw that while Flood and I were escaping out the back door with our very lives, our Steelers were taunting the crowd with the Who Dey, We Dey thing.......now who couldn't love that!! Nice job guys.....You ARE Dey!!)

Here's to the Revenge Tour 2007!!
