He's been pretty solid his entire career. Too bad it had to end due to injury.

Maybe I simply don't remember enough about him, but I don't recall him being one of the best.

I really don't remember much of his career except from the season the Raiders lost the AFCC Game to the Ratbirds until he retired.But from what I saw he was a good and solid QB,always seeming to be productive and putting up good numbers.

28,000 passing yards over 157 games? That is an average of 183ypg and he avg'd 1.1Td passing per game. No SB rings to speak of. What criteria did he fulfill to be deemed "one of the best"?
