I think Payton definantly deserves it. He brought that franchise back from a lot of trouble. Way to go Sean.

You notice the way he achieved what he did aswell?

He rooted out the malcontents, even if they were talented, and started the guys who want to learn and not take plays off.

The anti-Bengals, if you will.

I don't think Payton deserves it...Drew Brees, Reggie Bush and Marques Colston had more of an impact on the Saints than Payton did. Fisher or Belichick should get it. Belichick lost both starting WR's and they still won.

Belichick lost both starting WR's and they still won.saints lost d. stallworth in a trade and joe horn was injured for much of the year (both of whom are better than givens and branch). coulston and bush are rookies. 'chick only increased the win total by 2 games.

Well its not like every year the Saints win their division. The Saints did this year so Sean Payton deserves this award.

Excellent!!! :thumbsup: I was pulling for him - he was the obvious choice, as he did a great job with the Saints.
