I just put a bunch on the Eagles traling 7-0.

Eli is a happy stepping accident waiting to happen.

Westbrook will break something sooner or later

Ok, that was a pretty good job of calling the Westbrook 'big play'.

Wahooooo

That was one helluva run. Maybe it's just me, but IMO I feel he's slightly underrated when it comes to backs in the NFL.

Nice run - maybe this will be a good game after all. This could be Tiki Barber's last game as well - I had forgotten about that.

Anybody really care? :hunch:defintely. im always down for atleast 1 pennsylvania team representing in the superbowl.

i still enjoy watching plex play (when hes making great plays and not bitching of course). tiki is great.

but after t.o. smeared garcia, ive always wanted to see him do better than t.o. im a huge hank baskett fan (unm lobo) and stallworth and westbrook. i like the style of philly's d. this game seems to be much more promising than the one earlier today when you could see the tide turning and an obvious end as soon as pennington threw an int in the 3rd quarter.

While I can't stand Philly fans, I'd rather see the Eagles win for a few reasons. I can't stand Plaxico "I can't speak English" Burress. Proving that they can win minus T.O. I'm not a Coughlin fan. I'm not a Shockey fan.

I hear you - I just hadn't seen a thread up for the game yet and was asking the question "does anybody care?" rhetorically. I am a Steelers fan first, but beyond that I am also a football fan and I usually enjoy playoff games between division rivals. This one is getting interesting.

cant stand shockey or *choke choke cough*lin.

this is interresting:

staley vs. buckhalter both players were given the benefit of the doubt and held on to, for hopes of eventually contributing.

ried won out on this gamble and show of player loyalty.

I personally can't stand alot of Eagles fans, but the players on their team are very classy. Not really sure who to root for, so I'm rooting for a close game and whoever the underdog is at the moment.

That was such great play calling by the Eagles up to that point. When you are on the two yard line witha 1st down you run it in - thats a statement play - it saying your O-line can get it done.

The Giants are also the worst red zone D in the NFL..bar none.

Pass wacky nonsense - Garcia rolling out with no field to play with - thats just dumb.

On a prediction note - I feel like a Giants turnover is on the way,..probably on this drive..maybe a fumble...sack/fumble.

My sister also lives in Jersey. She always tells me they are the biggest #$%@&# in that city when it comes to football. She has witnessed them first hand in the Steeler bars in Jersey.

I've witnessed them inside Heinz and I'd have to agree with her.

i dont encounter too many eagles fans here in the southwest. its all cowboys fans. another reason to pull for the eagles.

Runyan needs to penalised how does he get away with two cheap shots?

The other guy is looking after his buddy!

Offsetting fouls....cop out.

I agree LITP, that was complete bullshit. It should have been 2 on Runyan and 1 on Toefield.

Halftime...looks like Eli is going to put together a choke job. I think the Giants still win, 31-27.

edit: it looks like I contradicted myself, but this score is relying on defense and Tiki/Jacobs.

How many INT's for Eli I wonder - he looks nervous makes bad reads - the only things keeping him in a job are his last name and Tiki Barber.

Personally I will go for 3 INT's - especially if they are trailing by 2 scores.

He's got 1 so far - and I agree with his last name helping in keeping him in a job.

they can, but only when a manning is throwing them the ball. I believe this was enstated the same time as the interception not being an interception when a manning throws the ball rule.

correct tony there is the standard rule book and the one that they use if you are a qb and your last name is manning.

2 weeks of the networks showing Jeff Garcia's girl! :)

The offensive play calling is done by someone else now.

The commentators noted that they seemed more balanced when they actually used their RB's to run the ball. :dang:

Still he did manage to not run out of time - chalk that one up for Andy.
