There may be two openings if Hines doesn't sign.

Edit: It was suppose to be a poll, but my PC performed an illegal operation midway through.

So who you got?

1. Antwaan Randle El

2. Fred Gibson

3. Cedrick Wilson

4. Walter Young

5. Others

The top 3 will be Ward, El, and Wilson.. Ward will show up to camp or in the season. If he doesnt show up by october, he'll lose this year of eligibility and he wont be a UFA till 2007.

That being said, Wilson is really hot right now, so El will need to be on his top game.

After seeing Wilson at camp, I may have to say Wilson. This may not go over real well with El. He is in a contract year and is hoping and praying for starters pay.

Correct me if I am wrong, but isn?t Wilson a possession receiver?

Technically all our receivers are pocession rec. We have no real deep threat. Even with Hines Ward.

I've got a feeling they are going to give El the first shot at it unless Wilson totally blows him out of the water in camp.

Before camp started I thought it would be Randle El. Wilson seems to be impressing so I think he is catching up with El. El has to keep his game up if not I think Wilson will end up being the starter. I can't wait to see them both at camp today.

I think Wilson will be number two. In my opinion, El is a better slot receiver

1 & 2 will be El and Wilson, but Mays will get cut in favor of Young(does this count for the thread?)for the 3rd or fourth(if Ward comes back and Morey is WR/ST hero like are other not ready for prime time players.

C. Wilson is a very good receiver and to tell you the truth I think he was signed to replaced ARE. :coffee:

Cedrick really impressed me while I was here at camp. He is a very good receiver.

Oops got confused with counting Ward or not. Gibson will be behind Young so maybe we go 6 deep in WR this year? Five solid for now, but when Ward comes back, someone better "separate" like Cowher said.

Gibson hasnt had the greatest camp so far from what Ive heard. But he's young, so it'll take alittle time
