A former girlfriend of California RB Marshawn Lynch, a projected first-round pick in the 2007 NFL Draft, is accusing him of sexual assault.
The woman was reportedly granted a restraining order after alleging that Lynch slapped and assaulted her in December. His attorney confirms Lynch was questioned by police but says no violence took place. An early entrant, Lynch ran for 1356 yards and scored 15 TDs last season.

He'd fit in perfect with that bunch of convicts. Probly make him their 1st pick to.

HA! that's just super-rific if you ask me. Like I said before the bungles cruise the jails looking for some fresh fish to bring to the NFL.

Oh man, I will just DIE laughing if the Bungles draft this guy! Can't see why they would considering they have a decent backup in Chris Perry (when healthy)...but just imagine the comedy that would ensue if they did?
Please, Marv...draft him! I beg of you! :sofunny:

Charges will not be filed. There were inconsistancies in the story, an eye witness that denies the account, and the accuser changed her story too many times.
It was just reported on the news here in the Bay area.

Kind of sounds like the Santonio Holmes issue last season.
The Bungles won't tarnish their reputation - they already have scouts in place at the city jail and the Ohio State Penitentiary.

That's funny. Here is one of the many mock drafts that has us actually drafting this guy.
It is not real easy to locate a glaring need on the Steelers depth chart and despite their rather pedestrian record in '06 they are basically set at almost every position. With that in mind Marshawn Lynch is simply too good to pass up in the middle of round one and this choice definitely falls under the "best player available" umbrella. Even though Willie Parker is coming off an excellent season it's still unknown how he will hold up as a workhorse over the long-haul so it would not hurt to ease his load and this franchise certainly had a lot of success with a running back rotation in the past. Similar in some ways to Laurence Maroney, Lynch has very good size, is a big play threat and some feel he might be equal or even perhaps superior to Adrian Peterson as a prospect. With Joey Porter and Clark Haggans set to become free agents after the '07 season the Steelers could be in the market for eventual successors and the offensive line and cornerback are options as well but for a team without a obvious hole they grab the top talent on the board.

This is almost a joke at this point...how can so many felons be on one team? It's almost like its planned...and I can't believe that mock draft has us getting him haha
