What a pile of crap. Starting with the comment that there are not enough good teams in the NFC to assess. Then the knob has the nerve to put Philly #1 to represent....... PLEASE!

patfans on sportsline are an interresting breed. there are 3 main things they all hold near and dear to their hearts:

1. patriots are the greatest dynasty EVER
2. the steelers will NEVER win a superbowl with cowher as the coach
3. the patriots have peyton mannings number and he will NEVER win a big playoff game

(most of them still secretly believe all 3)

Not that columnists have the market on wisdom cornered, but why are you linking to a message board? Hardly worth the time to read the rankings.

Thanks LITP

Sportsline's Clark Judge correctly notes the NFC North is wide open and picks Cincy in part because Cowher no longer is coaching Pittsburgh - hard to argue against figuring out how Cowher's absence will impact next year is the big variable. I do not regard losing the HC, OC, and OL coach as an overall plus.

Hey - fair enough. This is just one sportswriter's opinion. They're like hineys - everyone has one.

The only choice I agree with Judge on is San Diego. I still feel that the Bolts were the best team in football this past season but didn't get to the big game. Let 'em all discount the Steelers - we like it better that way and so does the team.

That's okay..... Let'em continue to disrespect our beloved Black & Gold. It's not the first time it has happened. The Steelers seem to play better when they're the disrespected underdogs anyhow.

..... and I agree w/Yinzer....... the EAGLES???? Puhhhhhlease!

WE always play better when we are the dogs....we have all the tools,,,,, AND now we do not have a SB hangover !!!!!!!!!!!!!!! we have something to prove.... lots to prove ..... I think STEELER football will surprise alot of us including ATL Dan......

HERE WE GO STEELERS ...... HERE WE GO .......

Wow, he picked the #1 seed and the #4 seed from the AFC and the #1 seed from the NFC as front runners. What a stretch. He also thinks Cincy has a really good shot if they can stay out of trouble. Yeah, right. I'm glad we're under the radar again.

Doesn't matter to me who they pick.

That KCODY is hilarious. XD

And some guy said watch out for the Cardinals. lol. >_>

If the Saints can get their defense a lot better, they'll be in the Super Bowl next year. I think (if the Steelers don't make it, and yeah, I know), then it'll be the Saints and Chargers/Colts/Surprise Team.
