Well, we no longer need to speculate about him possibly coming to us. Ron Rivera will no longer be the D-Coordinator for Chicago, but the Linebackers coach for San Diego. Good signing for all the Bolts Fans in SoCal.

With a 2-year deal, he'll be hunting for head coaching jobs again in very short order.

The perception in the league is that Rivera was a mere "caretaker" of Lovie's defense..and that he wasnt a "real" D-Coordinator....so the guestion is...did he leave to get credit somewhere else?....or did the Bears let him go BECAUSE they can find another "caretaker" cheaper than redoing his contract?

I agree. Sooner or later the truth will leak out, as with all rumors, secrets, and questions.
