I know of this one guy at work who is totally freaked out about Clowns, he is totally scared of them. some people at work one time had 1 of thier friends dress up as one and have them show up at work for his birthday. He rode in on a little Tri Cycle and in a clowns outfit, the guy totally freaked out!

personally, im much more freaked out by 'Howdy Doody' ventriloquist dummies, that become self-animated and wield butcher knives.

that creepy smile + a butcher knife is just plain creepy.

p.s. the new Ronald McDonald kinda bugs me. you can tell hes a fake.

When my older son turned 5 I had a big party for him and hired a clown, who was recommended by a friend, to come in and do a performance, tricks, stuff with balloons, ect. The clown had all kinds of special stuff that was supposed to include the birthday kid's help. All the kids LOVED it.....laughing, having a great time, wanting to be a helper......all except MY kid.....wouldn't go near her, talk to her, nothing! He sat in the background like a stone until she left! :dang: :sofunny:
