I know we are used to bruisers at the FB position, but what about a guy like Leonard out of Rutgers who can also catch passes? Just think of how much more effective the play action would be if we had a FB who could get out in the flats and catch passes and stretch the field. He has also played some RB so he could spell Willie too if needed.

wouldnt mind him at all....maybe a round 2 or 3 guy....i wouldnt select him over bush or hunt who will also probably go in round 2 or 3....we need to add a weapon to our Offense...leonard would give us an additional dimension on O as a FB/h-back....i wonder how well he blocks

I would love him...but I wouldn't waste a first or second round pick on him.

I would hit him up with a second round as long as we already traded down say like to the bottom 5 picks of the second round

He is a hard worker. But i dont even think he should go on the first day.

Brian Leonard is a true talent and could possibly be a great pick-up in round 2 and if there just definitely be the pick in round three. You can't teach heart.

I think he's a third rounder personally, but he strikes me as a guy who you grab if you have an extra pick in a round.

I think Brian Leonard would be a total steal in the first round. He is fairly fast, big, powerful, a good blocker. In other words, he is a picture perfect steelers Fullback

I was watching NFLN yesterday. The talk from their analysts is that he needs to put on 10-15lbs min to be a true NFL fullback. Question is could he do that and become more than just a blocking fullback. He just might be the next Mike Alstott. With that said, he's definitely not worth the reach in round 1. Maybe 3 or 4 depending on who else is on the board.
