I'm not sure what to think of that.

Some big FA moves going down - lots of money to burn.

$50million over 7 years is Steve Hutchinson money (not that he was massively effective in Minny anyway).

The Bills have reportedly just signed a guard, Dockery, from the Redskins for $49 million/7 years - makes you wonder why they wouldn't just spend that money on Nate Clements.

To be fair to the Browns they have attempted to improve their O-line - but have suffered quite a few injuries - LeCharles Bentley being one of the biggest losses.

If he can return and the Browns add Adrian Peterson they might be a team to watch on offense next year.

it looked like the deal for hutchinson was an anomaly last year but the bar/market has been set. makes an extension with faneca that much more important if he is to be retained

Watch your knees, Charlie.

Also, watch out for those staff infections, Eric.

That's not exactly fair, Tony. After all, the Stains were actually good once - during the Eisenhower Administration. It's not much, but at least it's something. :chuckle:

I stand corrected. Of course, the current Stains' somewhat short history doesn't come close to the Bungles' record of futility. :chuckle:

but then again, nobody remembers the sb losers, which is why you only hear about FIVE of the steelers sb appearances.

This was a good move for the Steelers...by subtracting a quality lineman from a legitimate division foe and adding it to a horrible one, the real competition was weakened by this move.
