Question for capologist

I don't know to much about the cap and this is a little greusome but when a player dies. Like the 49er this year and the Viking a couple of years ago, what happens cap wise? Are these teams given an exemption or something so they can put another player on the roster?

I cant say for sure, but I would imagine there are clauses in the contract in the event of a players death that would void some or all of the cap consequences.
