I know this is early but I was trying to find rules, cost of park pass and any other info I could get about tailgateing with the sheep people in St louis. If any of you have any info or would like to join us for a tailgate there get back to me. I plan on buying at least one park pass so we can tailgate.

I tried looking around but couldnt find maps or the cost of parking which I need to know. Alot of places you have to buy a park pass in advance.

Called the Rams ticket office to talk to them about parking.....parking is mostly $20 and it is first come first serve. I was thinking that we could just pick a lot and all try to meet there at the same time but I am open to any other ideas you might have

That is cool to know, LLT. I am planning on going to the game. My plans are to stay at the Hilton near the stadium or to stay at the Hampton in Union Square. It is Hilton owned. I am waiting to buy my tickets in hopes to find better seats at a cheaper price. I have a 9 hour drive, but it is the closest game this year. Last year I went to Atlanta and the year before I went to Houston.

Oh really, I ended up staying in one of the hotels in the Medical District...Really nice...I got my tickets early, but I waited to get my hotel room. So, I didn't get as close as I liked. However, Houston is my old stomping ground so It didn't matter where I stayed.....I drove all over the place to see friends anyway.

I think it is really cool that so many people are heading to that game. I don't know anyone really well on this site, but there are a few people on this site that I would like to meet if I had the chance.

WHEW!!!...thats a relief!!!:sweating:

You still considering Oz's?

We may want to consider Maggie O'Brien's which is downtown

Here is an editorial review
Always popular among hospitality-industry workers and SLU students, dingy Maggie O'Brien's serves up greasy nachos and burgers to night owls and Union Station tourists. The vast space is adorned with Celtic memorabilia and TVs, and includes a dance floor and a back room with video games, billiards and darts. Big crowds amass during Cards and Rams games, though the bar's most notable event is the sidewalk party following downtown's St. Patrick's Day Parade.

The Extras
During Cards and Rams seasons, the bar offers free shuttles to and from the games.

Stop by for happy hour weekdays from 4pm to 7pm.

A small group of us are staying at the Holiday Inn across from the dome. I know about fifteen people who are going. Has anyone figured out a tailgate location or are we all going to a bar? We'll be in sometime Wednesday afternoon. It's about seven and a half hours for us to get there.

hey everyone, as a native of st.louis, the best place to tailgate is probably the casino queen free to park, a huge parking lot, and its only a short metro train ride (costs 1 dollar) over the river to the dome, plus if you wanna gamble the casino just built a whole new building. (not the best casino but, it works)

their will prolly be tickets for sale since most rams fans are pretty fed up with the team this year. steelers fans will own the dome that day for sure.

westport plaza may be a good destination for you guys but, its on the opposite side of town and its quite a ways away from the stadium. there are a few good bars to check out right downtown near the dome. morgan street brewery is always pretty entertaining, and for a great place for some hot wings, cold beers, and girls in skimpy shorts try show me's all of this is a block or two from the dome. their are a ton of bars and restaraunts in this area of town. this area is called lacledes landing and is a block from the dome, towards the mississippi river. at night thier are blues music bars and people normally party'n pretty hard. the casino queen is just on the opposite side of the river.

mapquest or google map:
laclede's landing
itll give yopu an idea of where im speaking of.

i hope i helped you.
good luck to the steelers, enjoy our city.... go rams!!!

Greetings everyone, it is now only 1 more week until Steeler Nation turns St.Louie black n gold!! Once again, I am writing to remind all of you about our Holiday Main Event, an ALL-DAY, Gateway Steelers, Steel City Mafia/ICE tailgate…taking place at the parking lot of the Casino Queen in Beautiful E.St.Louis, ILL. This party is open to ALL Steeler fans and a select few Rams fans…if they think they can handle a REAL tailgate party.

As stated previously, the action begins around 10:00a.m (game time is not until 7:15). We will be having a raffle for a “wheel barrel FULL of booze”, a 50/50 drawing, Steel City Mafia raffles AND an autograph session with former Steeler great Louis Lipps. Food will be provided by Sharky’s of Collinsville, ILL. OH, by the way, there will be lots of Iron City, IC Lite, Yingling, Miller Lite and of course, all the Anheuser products you name. Many of the local Steeler fans have volunteered to supply these beverages.
