I think the days of keeping three players just for the kick coverage units are over. Not saying this isn't an important. But I think keeping three players on the active roster just for this role was a bit much especially since teams can only have 45 active players on game days.

So I'm not sad to see Morey go at all.lol

Morey was a beast on ST.In the game at Cleveland last year,he almost broke one (kickoff) for a touchdown. He's got experience and can help lead the ST.

I guess winning championships just didn't appeal to him. Maybe he wants his January's free for watching college basketball. I really don't know the reason, but he's going to find it tough to be useless on Arizona's roster because they don't have a spot to hide him like we did.

Well, i guess he figured he had taken all of the Coaching staff he could so he's moving on to players.

It really doesn't matter....Tomlin has plenty of starters he will employ on SS...lets do a "wait and see" on his decisions regarding this... if it works, we will compare the last 15 years, and wonder why BC didn't do more of this...

Probably because they had different underlying ideas, but who really knows?
