01-21-2005, 06:36 PM
Nah we dont hate you, you deserve all the accolades you've been given so far ? BUT... We will beat you on sunday!! ;D

01-22-2005, 01:18 AM
Exactly. ?We pass plenty of respect around the league. ?There are plenty that deserve it. ?Word of caution though T.B., don't get so busy patting yourself on the back that Sunday you get punched in the mouth.

"Fear" is a better word. Go easy on us...Please.

"Fear" is a better word. Go easy on us...Please.

The Steelers do not "fear" Tom Brady....

Remember TOTAL domination. Brady is 0-1 against us.

And, don't bring up the last AFCCG - that was Drew Bledsoe that beat us .....

As long as we play Steeler football, like we have all year, the only ones that can beat us is ourselves!

01-23-2005, 04:37 PM
Yeah, what she said!

01-23-2005, 06:27 PM
We fear NO ONE!!!!!!!!!!!

NO FEAR FOR 60 damn minutes!!!!!!!! and longer if it takes!!

02-18-2005, 09:58 PM
Tom Brady, deserves much respect. He wasn`t drafted early, but when the big game is on the line, wow. Reminds me of Bradshaw not alot of season passing yards, but comes up huge in big games.

02-23-2005, 08:32 PM
bradshaw and brady dotn go well togher bradshaw is the man brady not the man hehe, lets just say i dont think hes as good as his hype , threw 4 pics in mami game this year, iam not sayign this bc he has beaten us just my view on him its more the system then the man ;). youll find out this yera when there choachs are gone.

02-23-2005, 08:54 PM
I cant say how understated Tom Brady is. 3 Super Bowl wins and the man acts like he is still asking a girl out on a first date. I can't compare to Terry cause I'm biased, but I still remember Terry talking about the immaculate reception. He says that as he is lying on his back after throwing the ball and getting decked, he heard the crowd roar. He then thought to thimself..."Terry you SOB you threaded that needle, you made the throw you the man." Now in my opinion Tom isnt like that. He would have seen Patrick Pass(or somebody else) out of the corner of his eye, hit him with a screen and the rest of the patriots would have made just enough blocks to score. You see Terry lived to thread the needle and Tom just likes to stitch patiently.

02-23-2005, 09:50 PM
ya but alot of ppl have 2 sides one for the media and one for ppl he knows ;)

02-23-2005, 10:03 PM
Yeah but with 3 bowl wins, he doesn't have to hide behind a false front cause he is the man right now. I just see it as if he would have been different it would have happened by now. He is the Jeff Gordon of the NFL. Too good to not give credit to, but just not the fan favorite.

02-24-2005, 01:12 PM
He has everything we want, rings and trophies

02-24-2005, 04:36 PM
lol good saying hes like jeff gordan bc i hate gordon to lol iam a number 12 fan in nascar ;) go newman

02-24-2005, 06:01 PM
I don`t mean to compare him to Bradshaw, Bradshaw is my favorite player ever. but as far has playing in the big games, Brady always comes up with just enough, and at 27 he has plenty of time left for another ring or more

02-25-2005, 01:25 PM
Brady is a field general, and unflappable in big games. he wont throw for 300 yards and 4 TD's week in and week out like Manning will. But when push comes to shove, and the game is on the line, brady has shown he can get it done.

and yeah, it pisses me off too!

02-26-2005, 12:28 AM
The one thing I am waiting for in Brady is the injury/flinch factor. He stays in the pocket and waits longer than any other QB to deliver the pass taking great shots. So far nothing has jacked him. But it will sometime. Its the NFL it has to. Then afterwards, does he get a little shaky like he does when there is pressure around? That is when I expect the decline to come out. But it all icing on the cake for him now.

02-26-2005, 10:59 AM
Yes , he is very cool in the pocket

02-26-2005, 02:56 PM
he wasn't unflappable when we kick there ass in the season, hes overrated u get ppl in his face like we did in that game he fold and amkes bad throws.

02-26-2005, 11:02 PM
yeah I guess only a handfull of losses and three superbowl wins makes you over rated. Oh wait, maybe its the fact he didn't hamstring the pats into paying him Peyton money so they could sign a bunch of defensive studs to help him win super bowls. Oh wait maybe its his ability to look off Troy P. and take us deep when it counted most, Not my favorite yes. Overrated no way.

02-27-2005, 06:24 AM
I agree, not overrated. he might have been beaten up by us a little, but that was just one game, he`s looked pretty damn good the last 34 out of 38 games. I know alot of people say " well he has a great defense" well what team wins the superbowl without a great defense? Brady is worth his weight in cash.

03-01-2005, 12:24 AM
Notice that their great defense is like ours in that they don't have to be on the field that long and are constantly fresh. That plays right into the offense ability to drive the ball down the field. Look at NYG defense this year. Those guys were out there 35 minutes plus a game. Poor guys.

"don't get so busy patting yourself on the back"

I wouldn't worry about that. In fact if I was a Steeler fan I wouldn't worry about any of the Patriots. I'd worry about the guys wearing the black and gold, and the coaches walking your sideline.

Enjoy the Boston College/Florida St. game tonight(7:45 ESPN). I know you Pennsylvania folks don't have any decent college teams to root for.

WTF did ya dig up this old thread for !!!! surely you have more to sling around than that HW

09-17-2005, 01:35 PM
I don't hate Tom Brady.I have a ton of respect for him,he deserves all his accomplishments.I just hate him when he plays my Steelers.

09-17-2005, 04:32 PM
Why would anyone hate Tom Brady? He is living he American Dream. He has earned everything he gets. I actually have a lot of respect for him. He nevers seems to say the wrong things, he is a good quarterback, hey props to him.

If I saw Tom Brady walking down the street tomorrow, I'd shake his hand and confess that I admire him on many levels and think he's a Helluva football player.

09-18-2005, 04:51 PM
yeah tom brady is a great player imo, i can't find anything that he does to hate on him. he may not be the flashiest qb in the league but he gets the job done and that's all that matters. he's a for sure hall of famer in my book.
