Ricky Williams has been such a waste of talent. The young man could have had so much and just couldnt quit the pot smoking... what a shame... remember him in your prayers tonight.
Jesus doesnt hate us... he hates the sins.. Jesus Loves You

Ricky Williams could have been a hall of fame caliber RB,but he threw it all away to smoke pot.I have no sympathy for the scum, and I would rather see the NFL not reinstate him.

He wasted his talent, but I have nothing against another team hiring him if they want to take that chance.

If he does get that chance I hope he makes the best of what little carrier he has left.

The only reason he is not retired is because of the money. And if you only play for money than you wont be half the player if you played with heart.

All he does is want to get money so he can buy more weed... His young kids have a bad influence from their father

wow, the last few posts are very negative. First of all, Ricky doesn't smoke weed anymore, hasn't for years. He gets tested regularly, hasn't failed a test since 2005, and that wasn't even for weed, and is on the verge of getting reinstated. He teaches yoga in northern CA, and leads a quiet, peaceful life. Whats so wrong with that? So he made some mistakes, everyone does. I don't see how he "wasted" his talent or career. He didn't seem to be struggling when he was the leading rusher in 2003 with over 1800 yards, a half-ass o-line, and smoking weed on a regular basis. It's not like weed is a "performance enhancing" drug anyway. He looked great When he came back for 12 games in '05, and if anything EXTENDED his career in the NFL by taking a much needed rest during the last couple of years.
