It's that time of year.

Boston College (28-11-1) vs North Dakota (24-13-5)

These two meet for the third straight season, second straight in the Frozen Four and sixth time in the last nine tournaments. Even though North Dakota has brought back Finley, Toews and Kozek, they also lost both Zajac and Stafford. Also, Lamoureux vs Schneider? I'll take Schneider and a Boston College victory.

Maine (23-14-2) vs. Michigan State (24-13-3)

These two met in last year's East Regional final and Maine pulled off the win. I see the same occuring this year. IMO, this game is the battle of the goaltenders. Lerg vs Bishop. Bishop is back and healthy and Lerg who started off slow but stepped up big time in the second half. It's going to be great watching these two go head-to-head.

National Champion: Boston College

Sided Note for those interested:

Boston College vs North Dakota / 8 P.M. on ESPN 2

Maine vs Michigan State / 4 P.M. on ESPN 2

Also, if your a Penguin fan keep an eye out for Carl Sneep. Boston College defenseman who we took in the 2006 draft.

They are still a power house in college hockey (ranked second) but they were defeated by North Dakota (ranked sixth) in the West Regional Championship. Disappointing loss for Gopher hockey.
