I'm not quite sure why the '78 team is on the list. It should have been the '75 or '76 team. SB X we totally shut down Minnesota. The only points they scored were off a blocked punt. Talk about the defense being in a zone.

Ha - it didn't take long to get the 78 Steelers to number one, though only by three percentage points. So keep voting!

Have y'all checked out the America's Game website? It's a pain in the arse to read and navigate, but the Fan Rankings are interesting -

1) 78 Steelers
2) 75 Steelers
3) 74 Steelers
4) 85 Bears
5) 79 Steelers

and the comments are interesting too. Lots of whining from other team's fans and cogent arguments from the Steelers fans. Hee.

This Monday America's Game is featuring the 2005 Steelers, with commentary by Cowher, Porter and Bettis - can't wait! The fans have ranked the 05 Steelers at number 9, by the way. Either there are a lot of Steeler fans, or we are just very good at voting. Or maybe both...

The orator, however, may be the reason I don't watch it. Didn't he take a one-way flight to Siberia after the 2004 election? :chuckle:

I seem to recall a "threat" to move to France if Bush were reelected - too bad he didn't follow through on it....

The Steelers have the highest voting percentage. I believe 3rd is just where they were initially ranked. As if any other team would be able to come close to the fan support Steelers Nation brings to the table.
