This is good recipe for company or pot luck or anytime.
(2) Pkgs of jimmy dean/farmer johns ground sausage
(1) 7 oz can Ortega diced chilies
10 eggs
Bread
Butter
Cheese
Brown the sausage - drain the grease then stir in the can of chilies
Take a 9 x 12 cake pan spray bottom with Pam
butter one side of your bread then line the bottom of the cake pan with the bread butter side down
on top of the bread spread the browned sausage with chilies
on top of the sausage put your cheese (monterey, cheddar a mixture of both whatever) How much cheese? Really how much is to much cheese
Scramble your eggs then pour that over the top of the bread, sausage and cheese. Cover with foil refrigerate overnight.
Next morning preheat oven to 350 degrees. The first 30 minutes of baking leave the foil on the last 30 minutes of baking take the foil off.
